The Guinea Dad: Book Covers
I had the pleasure of working on the covers for "The Guinea Dad," a fantastic five-book series by Mark Stevenson. This adventure follows Tamia, a brave girl on a mission to help her father, who has been turned into a guinea pig by the evil VulcaTech Laboratories. As Tamia battles the members from VulcaTech, she uncovers hidden secrets and grows into her own strength.
Collaborating closely with Mark, I designed fresh, eye-catching covers for each book. Each cover highlights the main characters and incorporates vibrant colors that represent the magical stones central to the story. These covers aim to draw readers into Tamia’s thrilling world, setting the stage for the adventure that awaits.
Book 1 - An Underpig Story
Ten-year-old Tamia has a special bond with her two pet Guinea pigs Dudley and Cocoa. But during a mysterious encounter with a magical relic, her Dad's mind is transferred into Dudley’s body, transforming him into...The Guinea Dad! The pair must team up to return her Dad to his human form, but the evil VulchaTec laboratories have other plans....
Can Tamia stop them and save her dad in this classic tale of the underdog… or, perhaps, the underpig.
Book 2 - Back to School
The adventures of Tamia and her now super-powered Guinea Dad continue in the second installment of the Guinea Dad saga. The school is under new management, and pupils are starting to act very strangely.
The guinea gang find themselves in a race against time to save the school and discover the key to saving the Guinea dad. But can they even tell the difference between who is friend... and who is foe?
Book 3 - Rumble in the Jungle
In the third installment of the Guinea Dad saga, Tamia's quest takes her half-way around the world, hoping to finally discover the true nature of the artefacts wreaking havoc on their lives.
But danger lurks there, both ancient and modern, both new and familiar. Isolated in the depths of the jungle, and surrounded by threats on all sides, can Tamia and the guinea dad prevail and prevent the very jungle itself from being wiped out?
